About Me

I am currently a Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellow at Imperial College London.

My research is focussed on sustainable materials challenges, including embrittlement in hydrogen infractructure and technologies, and low carbon extraction techniques.

I use advanced characterisation techniques to understand hydrogen interactions in engineering alloys at a fundamental level. These techniques include transmission electron microscopy, cryogenic atom probe tomography and unique experimental rig design and manufacture.

My aim is to use fundamental understandings in materials science to create sustainable materials for use in industry and reduce the environmental impact of materials production.
